We are super proud to wrap up an incredible semester by bringing home our second Interdivisional Collaboration Award for Excellence for the inaugural IslanderHack 2025: AI for Good Hackathon! 🎉

This recognition reflects the true collaborative spirit of the Islander community and the power of cross-campus partnership. In collaboration with the Islander Office of Student Excellence Experience in the College of Engineering & Computer Science, faculty, staff, student organizations , industry mentors, and community partners invested more than 500 hours to design a meaningful, high-impact competition where students could gain in-demand, hands-on experience in AI, innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving. Your partnership helped create an unforgettable experience for our students and demonstrated the impact of collaboration in advancing student success.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Tesla Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery and CITGO for sponsoring IslanderHack 2025 and investing in student innovation and workforce development.
