🤝 Creating lasting community impact through collaboration and service.

Faculty and staff from Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center (CBBIC) at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi recently partnered with the Seraphic Franciscan Sisters in San Antonio through the Community as a Start-Up (CASU) initiative.

Together, they worked to develop a strategic plan supporting the Sisters' mission of serving the elderly with compassion, dignity, and care. For nearly 50 years, the Seraphic Sisters have provided comfort and support to residents and families throughout South Texas.

Thank you to the Seraphic Sisters for welcoming our team and sharing your inspiring commitment to faith, service, and community.

We would also like to thank the CBBIC faculty and staff who contributed their time, expertise, and passion to this initiative. Your dedication helps create meaningful impact both on campus and throughout our communities. Kent Byus, John Gamble, Doug Milbauer, W. Scott Sherman, and Shawn Elizondo.

Winner Spotlight: Chill South Texas, LLC

Founded in 2020, Chill South Texas has grown into an award-winning HVAC company serving the Coastal Bend. Through the support of CBBIC, Cheniere, Del Mar SBDC, and Doing Business with GIANTS, the company gained access to resources, training, and funding opportunities that helped fuel its growth.

Today, they're using a $10,000 Cheniere grant to invest in the future and continue delivering exceptional service to homes and businesses across South Texas.

🚁 Winner Spotlight: Skyline Drone Mapping

Skyline Drone Mapping is using advanced drone technology to help organizations across the Coastal Bend see, measure, and manage physical sites more effectively.

Through the Doing Business With Giants program, Skyline gained valuable insights to help position the company for future growth and larger opportunities. Grant funding will support new capabilities, improved workflows, and continued innovation.
