oal is to create products that are relevant, accessible, and empowering for tribes and clients alike while complying with federal and state requirements. With these goals in mind, we specialize in Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR). With CBPR, we partner with relevant tribes or communities as equal research partners. This includes incorporating their goals for the project and ensuring that results are disseminated back to the community in an accessible manner. LHA’s geographical areas of primary expertise include the Greater Southwest, Great Basin, and Pacific Northwest, as well as the Caribbean and Latin America. LHA complies with the National Park Services Essential Competencies for ethnographers at the Full Performance Level. LHA staff have Wilderness First Responder certification to best respond to any participant health and safety issues during fieldwork in remote areas.
