Yesterday, on 5/28, for the second time in my life, I joined Lemongrass Spa for the second time.
The first time, I was 4 months out of dropping out college at Fort Lewis College. My Dad had just became a TBI survivor and it made me realize that the stiffness of college was no longer for me, especially THAT college.
So, with LGS and no idea what I was doing, besides hanging with the other antsy teens I sat in chatrooms since I was 14. I had no idea how to sell or connect. But, somehow I still did. I learned, grew, and connected in deep and meaningful ways.
I eventually let it go, because at the time, it was overshadowed by the busyness of my Virtual Assistant business.
Fast forward to a couple months back now, when Racquel made a collective call to help come up with fundraising ideas to deversify streams of income coming into the foundation.
So, the years of relentless learning and "try again" mentality helped me see that LGS and this Advisory Board position, offered the perfect congruentcy.
Then, God walked in...
I'm texting this rnumber of a upline I've never heard of before about being a recovery specialist, being on the Advisory board, how these products will help so many people in recovery.
And, She exclaimed excitedly, "Oh! I know Racquel, I have been in recovery 13 years in recovery" Besides the obvious "Congratulations" I'm still moved by the power of God in the equation.
Don't worry, I told Missy about all the ambiance and BOMB food they have at the Lake & Lantern Cafe.
So, today I fuse with Hardbeauty in a way I never expected and we smooth path to recovery a bit more.
