Help save the Weatherization Assistance Program!
OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS THIS

The message from the NYS Assembly Upstate Caucus is clear: the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) must be funded in the final State Budget.

We thank the Caucus members who have made WAP a budget priority and stand up for the communities, workers, seniors, and households across New York that depend on WAP every day. They recognize what is at stake if this funding is not included—families struggling with unaffordable utility bills, skilled workers losing jobs, and vulnerable households losing access to critical energy efficiency services.

Now the focus turns to Governor Kathy Hochul.

Governor Hochul: include WAP funding in the final budget and protect one of New York’s most effective energy affordability programs.

New Yorkers are counting on you.

Thank you to:
