Always a great visit when going to in ! This visit was to find a glass and cage for a brass sconce. I figured this would be the best place and as usual, the owner and electrical guru Steve Erenberg did not disappoint! He found another glass covering that wasn’t original to it but he made it fit and tested it out! A gentleman and a scholar! Thanks Steve! If you haven’t been to Early Electrics in Peekskill NY, THIS IS A MUST!

Was out and about in the Theater District last weekend and this caught my eye. Just at the right time and right lighting. Can’t beat NYC at twilight. It revs up like no other city!

Another acquisition from the camera world. In 1936, Keystone launched the Keystone Model A-7, a 16mm spring-motor driven camera that operates at seven speeds including 8 fps, 16 fps, and slow motion. This particular one looks like it’s from 1947. Untested. Cool display piece. Anyone likey, DM.

Just picked up this “ Kodak No. 1a Folding Pocket Kodak”C.1899-1915. In pretty good shape for its age. Baffles are still intact. Love the design and Art Deco fonts used! Not tested but … oh well! Still purdier than a new set of snow tires! 😎 Any interest, DM.

Went on a field trip to Phillip’s Manor in Philips Manor NY with my ENL (English as a New Language) 7th grade students and this was their lunch they brought from home. THEY PLAY NO GAMES when they chow down! Latinos know how to feed their kids! Mom prep these meals and made sure they ate right! No deli sandwiches here! YUMMO!! 🇪🇨

GREAT Antique Dutch barn door that is HEEEAAAVVVYYY! Beautiful piece that is probably late 1800s to early 1900s. Looks like it can be Mahogany. Two pieces with original hardware. Mortise lock. Maybe Sargent (?). If it looks familiar to anyone, let me know. K***s need a lil more cleaning but looks like it could be either copper or brass( brass is usually the default but hey, you never know 🤓! ) Beveled glass on upper door. Dimensions are approximately 43”x46” maybe a bit bigger but you get the idea 😜. Anyone interested, let me know.
