From July 6th-July 31st, our class spent 87.75 hours outdoors from 8am-1pm, Monday-Friday! There are many benefits to this including gaining gross motor skills, sensory development, and emotional resilience which all lead to confident and independent individuals. They have extended time, or free play opportunities, to make their own decisions like who they want to play with, what they want to do, when they want to do it, where they want to do that and why they're doing what they're doing.

We are thankful for the hours of fresh air we get to have and the nature we get to observe.

Last week, we spent 20.75 hours playing outside, Monday through Friday 🌞 that's pretty awesome. We are so happy to have a flexible schedule to listen to children when they want to be outdoors and explore, get creative and problem solve. We are also very grateful to have such a fun play area where children WANT to spend 20+ hours outside throughout the week. 🌿🌲

Thank you to this beautiful weather for allowing us to enjoy the outdoors even more.

Happy Mother's Day! 🌸🌷🌿 Our hard work this week has paid off, and the Mother's Day gift turned out amazing! We decorated vases with dried flowers, crafted flower shapes from fruit, painted wooden hearts, and captured our 'Thank You' moments! Then, we put it all together. ❤️
