Rodent Exclusion Done Right!

Foundation vents are a common entry point for rodents, but they aren't always straight forward. This one definitely wasn't.

Multiple conduits packed tightly into the opening made it a perfect way for rats to get in, and a very tough spot to seal properly. But our technician Ander absolutely nailed it!

This kind of work and care will keep this home protected, and it's what sets our team apart. Amazing job Ander!

Big congratulations to our Client Service Rep Marissa, the 2025 Best Picture of the Year champion! Every year we hold an internal photo contest to see which employee here at Good Earth can capture the best pic.

This year’s winning photo is a perfectly timed shot of a wasp foraging for some protein, highlighting just how wild and fascinating the small world around us can be.

Not only does Marissa take home bragging rights and a gift card, but her name is now officially etched into Good Earth history on the legendary Golden Goat Trophy 🐐... the highest honor in our annual photo contest.

Holiday hours update:

We’ll be closing mid-day on Christmas Eve and will remain closed through the weekend so our team can spend time with their families and friends.

Our technician Reis was called out to handle some uninvited guests…Yellowjackets had built a hidden nest INSIDE an outdoor speaker. Definitely a new one for us!

Please join us in congratulating Brandon on earning his ACE (Associate Certified Entomologist) designation from the Entomological Society of America.

Brandon has been a dedicated part of the Good Earth family since 2017 and currently serves as a Lead Technician at our Eugene branch. This certification is no small feat, it represents deep knowledge, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in pest management.

🦝 Raccoons Are Cute...And Sometimes Destructive… 😮

Check out this serious damage at the roofline caused by a raccoon trying to break into an attic! Our Wildlife Director Greg took these and it really shows how clever (and persistent) these animals can be. Racoons will rip through shingles, vents, and fascia boards to find shelter, especially during nesting season.

At Good Earth, we offer wildlife removal and exclusion services to remove animals and seal up potential entry points to keep them from coming back. 🛠️

It’s a service not everyone knows we provide, but if you’re hearing footsteps in the attic or noticing damage like this, give us a call. We’ll help protect your home!
