Imagination and Technology. Our client sent us a design file to print on a small piece of acrylic and asked us, before we printed, to drill some precision holes with our CNC. We had little idea of what they were up to, but were amazed at their result.

We did this job in association with our long time friend, Chris Trisnan. Chris and his associate designed this for Louie’s by the Bay in Newport Beach. We decided to print the graphics on Etchmark film, keeping some transparency. It worked. Louie’s is named after Louis Zamperini, from Torrance, a WWII POW and war hero, celebrated in the book and movie “Unbroken.” The restaurant owner, Ron Salisbury, was a family friend of the Zamperini’s.
