Jettie Ray Adams should have been loved and protected. Instead, she died violently, beaten with blows to her head, chest, and abdomen.
Jettie was three years old when she was killed in August 2015 inside a small trailer in the Trafford community of Jefferson County, Alabama.
Evidence reveals her suffering did not begin that day. There were other signs of abuse.
Bruises.
Black eyes.
Broken bones.
Who all saw what was happening to this three-year-old little girl?
Eleven years have passed since Jettie’s murder. And now, the secrets surrounding her death are beginning to unravel. New evidence is coming to light. But one key question remains: Who is finally willing to tell the truth?
We know five adults, including her mother, were inside the trailer where Jettie was murdered. There were other children there too who are now grown up. They may remember what they saw and heard. They may remember the moments that have haunted them for eleven years. They may have been too frightened to speak then.
Someone knows what happened to Jettie. She cannot speak for herself.
Jettie deserves to be heard. She deserves the truth. She deserves justice.
