I had the honor of creating a logo for this fantastic local honey business owned by Kaleb Long.

I created several logo options for him to choose from and this was the winner! Keep an eye out for this new logo on his products in the future. 🐝 🍯

I am the owner of Salt of the Earth Designs. I am a mama to three littles and one furbaby. Work/Life Balance is an increasingly crucial aspect in my life as a mom and wife. I hope that by offering my services and skills to you, this necessary balance will be possible for us both!

I have over a decade of experience in a variety of areas and I love to dabble in even more. I’d say my love of design (web and graphic) began early on in the Myspace days (oof…now I feel old). I was always creating simple code to personalize my profile along with creating graphics and even full layouts that I could offer to others. This hobby fell to the wayside as I focused on school.

Fast forward to 2015 after our first daughter was born. I created a semi-crunchy parenting blog (Crunchy on the Weekend) and continued my passion for web design, blogging, and more. Life happened (as usual) and between a full-time job and a busy little one, I just wasn’t able to keep up.

My mom started her own jewelry business around this time and I began to create and manage her website, inventory, and more (Terra Gems Designs). From business cards to technical support, I handle it all and love it.

I began working for a startup accelerator (as their 2nd remote employee) in 2017 when our second daughter was a little more than 1 year old. I was able to develop a variety of new skills while becoming familiar with new programs, resources, and the startup world. A big change for someone like me who had a BS in Audiology + Speech Language Sciences and no real startup knowledge.

Now with our third little one here along with us getting closer to our dream of having our homestead, my desire to be more present for my family is at the forefront of my mind. I may not consider myself a “guru” by any means, but, I am passionate about the skills I have developed and will strive to make sure that passion equals satisfaction for all of my customers!
