I'm not typically a "National . . . Day/Month" person, but I just learned that August is National Make a Will Month, so shout out to Katie Ludwick, of Ludwick Law Group, who helped me and my husband with our Will and Estate Plan a few years ago.

A proper Will requires a knowledgeable estate attorney. (Some of you got a giggle out of that, as my very own husband is an attorney.) Don't leave it up to chance - make it easier on your surviving family! Will, Trust, Financial Power of Attorney, Durable Health Care Power of Attorney, Advanced Health Care Directive, and more. Katie walked us carefully through each piece.

Confession: I hired house cleaners. Not because I can’t clean, but because I’d rather spend weekends with my family than scrubbing toilets.
