Field Service Technician – BITS
BITS is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Field Service Technician who is good with their hands, comfortable solving problems, and capable of working independently.
This position involves the installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of:
- CCTV / Security Cameras
- Alarm Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Networking Equipment
- Low-Voltage Cabling
- POS Systems
- Other electronic and field-service equipment
Preferred Skills
Candidates should have a working knowledge of:
- Basic networking
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Basic electrical theory
- Hand and power tools
- Low-voltage systems
You do not need to know everything on day one, but you must be capable of learning, thinking through problems, and taking initiative.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Willingness to travel for service calls as needed
