For quite some time, NBC has used the Mill Brook Park building as the location for meetings. However, things will be changing. Starting next week, NBC will be hosting their group meetings at the Bidwell Tavern!

The Bidwell Tavern has been used as a substitute location whenever Mill Brook was unavailable. This time, the restaurant will be NBC's permanent meeting location. For anyone willing to join the group, have no worry, the Bidwell Tavern is located across the street from Mill Brook.

It's been a long journey, so we'd like to thank the people of Mill Brook for letting us use their building as NBC's meeting spot. We also want to thank Amber Jones KW Realtor and the people of the Bidwell Tavern for letting NBC use their establishment as our new location!

As you may know, Dan Maitland from Msquared Water Proofing has been part of NBC for some time. As of today, he will be leaving the group to further focus on his business. That's why for today's Group Spotlight we want to pay homage to Daniel Maitland!

Dan Maitland is the head of M Squared International, LLC. He specializes in solving any issues related to a wet basement. From sealing cracks to waterproofing basement floors to control moisture, Dan and his team will use their skills to get the job done.

When it comes to using the right tools, Daniel has it covered. Using innovative solutions and state of the art waterproofing products, he manages to create clean, dry, and healthy basements for both homeowners and commercial customers. If you need someone to go above and beyond, Dan is the man!

In his spare time, Dan is spending time with family. At NBC, Dan showcases the tools MSquared uses, along with his ambition that led him to success. We appreciate everything you've done for the group Dan!

Good Morning Everyone! Here's what happened last week at NBC.

Jacob Ricketts shared his knowledge about Elise Casey and Certified Financial Services with the group. Jeff LaHouse talked about how he and Amazing Hardwood Floors tackle carpet cleanings for the holidays. Elsie Casey discussed that she does non-profit educational seminars at hospitals.

For his presentation, Daniel Maitland did a live demonstration of MSquared's products. Gary Adams and Kim Dexter volunteered with the demonstration. Dan went all out with his presentation bringing friends, family, team members, and live music for the demonstration. In addition, Dan went over how his business has gone international and has increased in sales. We're proud of your success Dan!

In other news, Tim Ackert talked about how he takes on referrals wherever they come from. Michelle Lamotte talked about how home buyers can be covered when moving items and how she will answer the weirdest of questions. Lastly, Amber Jones won the door prize and Kelsey Barlow, one of Dan's guests, won the 50/50 raffle. We can't wait to share more highlights.

We at NBC are happy to announce that we will be taking part in the Wishes on Wheels Convoy event on September 27. Wishes on Wheels is a non-profit event that raises money for Make-A-Wish Connecticut. The organization has been running this family fun truck event for 27 years. To help support their cause, we will be taking part in the convoy.

If anyone would like to join, the event starts on September 27 at 9:30 AM in Rentschler Field (615 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT). For anyone who wants to be in the convoy: truck registration begins at 6:30 AM. Registration can be done at the gate. To preregister, or to learn more about the event, visit wishesonwheels.com

Good Morning Everyone! Here's what happened last week at NBC.

Scott Daros shared his knowledge about Tim Kollars and Coventry Hills Pro Painting with the group. Pawe∤ Herman of gotocoder returned as a guest. He talked about how his skills and software help employees save time and open more opportunities to enjoy life. Nathan Cour talked about how he helps out with mid-season tax paying.

Jacob Ricketts did a presentation breaking down the social media services of Artist Haven Media. Using a slideshow, Jacob discussed social media services and how AHM helps clients with social media needs. Whether it's a simple post or the creation and management of a new account, Jacob showed how AHM has their customers covered.

In other news, Christina Wheeler used a story from personal experience to talk about the importance of communicating with people to help get what they want. Gary Adams talked about how wonderful it feels to fulfill product orders at Lynch Toyota and to help new customers. Lastly, Gary Adams won the door prize and Michelle Lamotte won the 50/50 raffle. We can't wait to share more highlights.
