Covington is very pleased to announce Mr. Troy Bever as our new boys varsity head coach! Troy has been a part of the coaching staff here at Covington since 1993 & has been teaching here since 2000. Some of Troy’s coaching experiences & achievements include:

Troy is a life-long Covington resident. He & his wife, Jenni, have been married & lived here for 33 years. They are the proud parents of two Covington graduates, Ty (2019) & Trey (2020).

Coach Bever’s coaching concept is a ‘we before me’ attitude in which players in his program will play hard, respect the game, & respect the tradition that the Covington basketball program has shown, not only throughout his coaching tenure but also back when he played (1982-86) & long before.

Fluffy Fellows Farm offers free summer lunches for kids 🩷

OPERATION SUMMER LUNCH!!

Beginning June 16 and running through June 30th( on the days we are open!) we're excited to launch Operation Summer Lunch at Fluffy Fellows Farm Bakery & Market!

We know summer break means many kids lose access to school lunches, so we'd like to help in a small way.
Each Operation Summer Lunch includes:
• An Uncrustable (contains peanut butter)
• A fruit
• A drink A cookie A fruit gummy snack

How it works:
- Child must be present
- Limit 1 lunch per child, per day
- Available while supplies last
- Just come in and ask for an "Operation Summer Lunch"
- No purchase necessary

We're so thankful for the support our community has shown us from our first days in business to the ongoing support that you show us daily! We are just so excited to give back!

Let's make this summer a little sweeter. 🩷

Congratulations to City of Covington Police Officer, Hailey Aukerman! 🇺🇸

Hailey was recently awarded the Air Combat Command Superior Performance Award by the 181st Intelligence Wing in Terre Haute, Indiana.

This distinguished honor recognizes Airmen & Airwomen who demonstrate exceptional performance, dedication, and commitment to mission excellence.

Hailey’s hard work, professionalism, and service have earned her this well-deserved recognition.

We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and grateful for her service to our nation and community.

Central Fountain County in west central Indiana...
Southwestern Warren County in west central Indiana...
Northwestern Vermillion County in west central Indiana...

* Until 915 PM EDT

* At 858 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Danville, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter.
Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Covington, Veedersburg, Attica, State Line City, and Foster.

This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 1 and 20.
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
