It is with profound sadness that the members of St. Tammany Fire District 12 mourn the loss of one of our own, Operator Nikkolas Hurd.
Nikk dedicated his time, energy, and service to our department and to the community we are proud to serve. Beyond his service, Nikk was a friend, a brother, a son, and a valued part of our fire department family.
We are heartbroken by this loss and extend our deepest condolences to Nikk’s family, loved ones, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.
The fire service teaches us to stand together in times of crisis. Today, we ask our community and our members to do the same. Please keep Nikk’s family, friends, and our department family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this difficult loss.
Rest easy, Nikk. We will remember you, we will honor your service, and we will carry you with us.
