Rain or shine, we will never miss Krewe de Camp!

Firefighters Sharp, Jenkins, and Bonnell visited Krewe de Camp today and as usual they had just as much fun as the kids!

This is a day that we look forward to each summer!

Lee Road Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 10:57am today. When units arrived on scene, fire was observed consuming the garage area of the structure. Command quickly requested mutual aid from St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 5, St. Tammany Fire District # 8, and later requested an aerial ladder truck from St. Tammany Fire District #12.

Fire Incident Command placed the scene Under Control at 1:45pm and advised that the interior crew rescued the homeowner’s pet cat.

Thankfully there were no injuries during this incident.

The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is on scene investigating.
