WASTE AUDIT: What the heck is that?

A vast majority of companies I talk to have never even considered doing one--most of those have never even heard the term.

Paying to have trash and waste hauled away from their facilities is just one of those expenses they pay without looking at the bill or thinking about.

At some level, they know that the waste contracts they signed provide for rate hikes under certain circumstances, but it's not something that concerns them.

What they fail to realize is that well over 90% of them are paying WAY too much under those contracts.

Here's the trick, however. When I talk to them and point out that we guarantee cost reductions of at least 10% from what they're currently paying, some of them think it's simply an issue of the rate. They hang up with me and call their hauler and say, "I just found out we're over-paying on our waste contract. I want the rates cut. The hauler sends them a contract with a different rate and, more often than not, the company ends up actually paying MORE because the new contract has new provisions that allow them to actually bill more!

What they don't understand is that there is a process involved that requires constant monitoring of the activities of the haulers as detailed in the contracts. Sometimes, a new contract is in order. But our audit is an on-going process that extends over time--keeping the haulers' feet to the fire within the contracts.

So, a company can hire a team to monitor their waste contracts, but they will spend a considerable amount of time learning the "tricks of the trade" AND they come with costs of salaries, etc.

Or a company can come to us and get the benefits of adding that team to their payroll without any cost. Actually, it costs LESS THAN $0. We offer this service on a shared savings basis, so it's cash flow positive from day one.

Moreover, we can provide actionable data to support a company's waste initiatives, single-invoice billing across multiple facilities or contracts, and we will be the people on the phone with the haulers addressing issues as they arrive.

FB has implied that there are masses waiting for a post from me on this page.

I would first remind anyone who reads this, that I attempted to change the name of this page to reflect my current work, but FB would not allow it.

I have actually been thinking about the work I do, over the last few days. As I've thought about how best to talk to companies and overcome the natural and understandable barriers they put up against annoying "sales calls," etc.

The question for me, becomes, "Why should I continue to call people and tell them about what we do when they either don't believe we can help, or they think they already have what we offer?

The reason is simple: they NEED what we offer, and I'm providing them a tremendous opportunity, whether they realize it or not.

When I consider the percentage of operating expense represented by bills any company pays related to energy, water, waste hauling, tech integration and purchasing (supplies, MRO, cars, furniture, etc.) and the fact that we're typically seeing cost reductions from 6-40%--sometimes as much as 80%-- and then consider the impact that would have on those companies, their employees, employees' families, their respective industries and markets... well, that's why I do it.

"Sustainability" has become a catch-phrase in our time that can mean about anything. Often politically charged, it can carry a lot of weight--positive and negative, depending on who you're talking to. But Energy Network makes it an achievable, financially viable aim for any company.

As Q4 races on and the New Year looms, it's a great time to eliminate wasteful expenditures coming from unexamined, unmonitored waste contracts.

We guarantee 10% reduction in costs, but typically see as much as 25-40% savings. It's like adding an entire department to your company for less than $0.00!

OK. So last year I started working with Energy Network. I learned all I could about the company and talked with several people on the inside about philosophy of business, purposes, aims, etc. I found the company to be EXACTLY in line with what I've been looking for since I left law enforcement.

I signed on as an Independent Consultant and have been doing this ever since. I allowed the LLC on Bexar Enterprises to lapse as it wasn't necessary to maintain for this work.

SO, with a recent desire to use social media as a business tool more effectively, I decided to get active on this page again and immediately tried to change the name.

Since Bexar Enterprises LLC no longer exists, I thought it wise to not have that as the name for my business page. HOWEVER Facebook, in all its infinite wisdom, has decided that my name change was "deceptive" to anyone who might visit it and declined the change.

So, to Facebook, being precise in telling people what's happening, is "deceptive."

Thank goodness they're looking out for us all!

BUT, since FB won't allow me to "deceive" you all with the facts, please be aware that Bexar Enterprises, LLC no longer exists, and my current business is delivering AMAZING value in Energy Supply, Energy Demand, Energy Resiliency, Water Management, Water Treatment, Water Recycling/Re-Use, IoT Integration and the infinite combinations of it all that come from tailored application to each client business.
