I can’t believe Murphie is 3 months old already! ❤️ He is growing so fast and has the sweetest personality. His baby fuzz is EXTRA fuzzy - the thickest, curliest hair I’ve ever seen! I can’t wait for him to shed out so I can see what he looks like under the sheep hair! 😂

Educated horses always have great homes.

It’s essential to give the best education possible to your horses. Training a horse can start as early as a few weeks old. Teach them to respect your space, to do groundwork basics, to soften to pressure, to saddle quietly, and to ride like a broke horse.

And if you don’t know how to educate your horse, find some reputable professionals to help. Keep educating yourself to be a better horseman, so your horses will have good homes no matter what.

Congratulations to my assistant Shyann on making her NRHA Rookie Pro debut at the SERHA Carolina Classic, riding “Kingdom Kid”, owned by Lit'l Texas Ranch! They were very impressive in their first run together and finished 5th in their class! Shyann has been working hard over the last year and deserves every bit of her success! The most adorable baby barn swallow jumped out of his nest and landed in our feed stall while we were at the horse show. “Jethro” was trying to learn how to fly but couldn’t quite figure it out, so all we took turns babysitting him until he could fly to safety on the last day of the show. He loved hanging out with us and even came with us to the show pen to cheer on Lily and Sis. It was hard to say goodbye but we hope to see him again at the show in July!! 🥰

Congratulations to America’s Next Charlie on a very successful debut at the SERHA Carolina Classic, winning the Green Horse class! “Charli” is a little behind in her training but she’s catching up quickly and I am so proud of her. Now she is an official NRHA money earner! She has a bright future ahead!
