ETA on return to service has been delayed slightly as fiber repair teams found further damage to the lines. However, service should be back up sometime this morning.

Fiber repair teams have been working through the night to reconnect the extensively damaged fiber cable. They have estimated the return of service by around 8:30am.

Fiber connection specialists have been dispatched to the damaged area and will begin reconnections when they arrive. Thank you for your patience.

Efforts to obtain an updated status of ongoing repairs are underway at this time.

We received notice that the fiber repair team has located the break in the fiber line and is assessing the damage; repairs to begin soon.

Fiber repair teams are on site, locating the break in the fiber line. Currently waiting on an ETA for restored services.

3:00pm outage update: The fiber provider has found an issue with a connection that comes over the mountains from Denver; they are working to diagnose the problem at the moment.

6.20.25: The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Eagle and Moffat Counties YVEA will be placing these locations into Fire Protection Mode (FPM), and will be placing the portion of Eagle County that we serve under FPM. Here are the details of the Red Flag Warning:
• Eagle and Moffat Counties: Friday, June 20th 9:00 am through midnight; and Saturday, June 21st 9:00 am though midnight
•Eagle and Moffat County will be in a Fire Weather Watch on Sunday, June 22nd from 9:00 am until midnight. This has a chance to flip to a Red Flag Warning, which we are prepared to handle.
Members who are impacted by us going into Fire Protection Mode (FPM) will be receiving a call and/or email from Yampa Valley Electric Association (YVEA).
When we put our system into FPM, members should anticipate longer and more frequent outages, due to the sensitive setting we put our system into. During FPM, members may continue to use their electricity as normal.
