Calving has been rolling right along with the nice weather, although some much needed moisture would be nice. We have been especially fond of the Ellingson Lakota calves, including this newborn bull pictured with his productive young Bronc mother.

11 AI’d to Raven Republic to calve January 25th for 10 days.
11 bull bred by sons of Kraye Big Country and Millars Duke to calve February 10th for 45 days.

Our girls made a pretty good showing at the Crawford Cattle Call today. Champion heifer calf pen and overall pen. Thank you to all the volunteers who put in a lot of hard work every year to put this on.
