This Electrolux refrigerator was cooling properly, but the user interface display had partially failed.

Several of the temperature display segments had permanently burned out, making it impossible for the homeowner to accurately read and verify refrigerator and freezer temperatures.

After diagnosis, we confirmed the issue was a failed user interface (UI) board. The faulty display assembly was replaced, restoring full visibility of all temperature readings and normal operation.

Not every dishwasher problem requires replacing expensive parts.

This GE dishwasher was suffering from poor wash performance due to a severely clogged pressure switch. Years of detergent residue, grease, and debris had restricted the switch’s ability to accurately sense water levels.

In situations this severe, we typically recommend replacing the pressure switch to avoid future reliability concerns. However, after discussing the options, the customer chose to have the component cleaned and tested instead.

After a thorough cleaning and operational testing, the dishwasher was back in service and performing properly.

Knowing when a component can be cleaned and when replacement is the better long-term solution is part of getting the repair done right.

Dryers don’t have to stop heating to need service.

This Maytag dryer was making excessive noise and had years of lint buildup throughout the cabinet. During the repair, we replaced a worn idler pulley and performed a complete internal cleanout to remove accumulated lint and debris.

Excessive lint buildup can reduce efficiency, increase drying times, create unnecessary wear on components, and become a potential fire hazard.

A properly maintained dryer runs quieter, dries more efficiently, and lasts longer.

Seeing an AE error code on your LG washer?

In this case, the culprit was a deteriorated main wash pump hose that had developed a split, allowing water to leak inside the machine. Once the leak was detected, the washer triggered the AE error code and stopped operating properly.

We replaced the damaged hose, corrected the leak, and verified proper operation to get this washer back in service.

Having trouble getting your oven to light?

This Thor range had a burner tube that burned through beneath the igniter, a fairly common issue that can cause delayed ignition, inconsistent lighting, or ignition failures.

In this case, the customer elected not to replace the burner tube at this time. We cleaned the affected area and cleared rust and debris from the burner ports to help restore proper flame distribution and ignition performance.
