We just wanted to jump on here and remind everyone out there again that LOUPE Americas 2026 begins September 15, so there is still time to register and make plans to join us in Chicago.

DPi will be in Booth 6421 demonstrating variable data printing and RFID encoding on a Tamarack press. The setup will also feature the CISC RAIN Xplorer Inline for RFID quality inspection.

Register for the show, then come see the system running and talk with our team about your application.

A closer look at a recent M7 installation.

With this operation, the web moves through the press as normal while the M7 adds variable data directly onto the substrate without breaking up the production line. Product data, codes, identifiers, versioned information, and other job-specific print can be placed onto the material as it runs, instead of being handled in a separate offline step.

Then the press begins to move, and the job data is sent to the inkjet system. The M7 fires at the exact moment the substrate passes beneath it and lays down unique code in the precise right place while the production continues to run at full speed, never slowing down once.

For label and packaging operations, that kind of integration is a game changer. More jobs are asking for traceability, serialization, smart label support, versioning, shorter runs, and production flexibility, and being equipped to do this in-house without handing it off to a third party expands those margins per job exponentially.

That is what DPi systems are for.

We build inkjet systems around the equipment, space, speed, substrate, and application already in front of us. Whether the job is labels, packaging, direct mail, forms, or another variable data application, the goal is the same: bring inkjet into the workflow where it makes the most sense.

Here's a recent DPi installation built around high-volume label and packaging production.
This application is focused on adding variable inkjet capability directly into an existing production workflow, giving the operator more flexibility for product labels, serialized information, traceability marks, versioned jobs, and other production data that needs to be printed cleanly at speed.

That is another area a DPi system was built to shine in.

Instead of moving the job offline or adding unnecessary steps, inkjet is integrated where the work is already happening. For label converters and packaging manufacturers, that flexibility matters. More jobs are requiring changing data, shorter runs, tighter version control, and printed information that has to stay tied to the product as it moves through production.

If this sounds similar to your operation, and you have been debating whether to pull the trigger on a new inkjet system or add variable capability to your floor for the first time, contact us.

Let’s see what it would take to get you started.

Anyone who has been in this industry for any amount of time knows how important ink cost can be.

With DPi systems, our ink cost efficiency helps keep the cost per printed mark extremely low. Barcodes, QR codes, addresses, lot codes, serial numbers, and other variable data can be printed at real volume without turning consumables into the problem.

That matters on long runs. It matters on margin-sensitive jobs. It matters when customers are asking for more data and more versioning without wanting to pay more than they have to.

For the price of a cup of coffee, DPi systems can print more than 100,000 barcodes, QR codes, addresses, and similar variable marks.

That is the kind of cost efficiency that adds up REAL fast.

DPi will be exhibiting at LOUPE Americas 2026 in Chicago, September 15–17.

You can find us in Booth 6421

We’ll be showing how DPi systems fit into RFID production, including RFID encoding and the variable print that supports it. RFID encoding is the process of writing unique data to each RFID chip so the finished label, tag, or package can be identified, tracked, and verified through the supply chain.

For converters moving into RFID, the challenge is making that process work cleanly at production speed. The data has to be printed, encoded, checked, and kept in sync as the web moves through the line.

That is the kind of work we are excited to show in person.

The show is just over a month away, so make sure to register soon. We can’t wait to see everyone in Chicago and show what DPi, Tamarack, and CISC are bringing to the floor.

Here is a look at a recent DPi system installation running clear security label film.

This type of application is a good example of where industrial inkjet has to do more than print on easy material. Security label work often involves specialty films, tight placement and production requirements that leave very little room for inconsistency.

In this setup, the system is printing barcodes and QR codes onto a translucent polyester film used for security and identification applications. Materials like this can be more demanding than standard paper or label stock because contrast, adhesion, web handling, and code readability all have to hold up as the job moves through production.

For shops doing security labels, tamper-evident products, authentication work, durable labels, or traceability-focused packaging, the ability to print variable codes directly onto specialty film opens the door to higher-value jobs.

That is where DPi systems fit well. We help manufacturers and converters bring variable inkjet into the workflow they already have, giving them the ability to run security-focused jobs without sending that capability somewhere else.
