This month, our guest speaker is Anthony Guerrero, who is the San Luis Valley Community Engagement Specialist for Pikes Peak United Way. He works every day to connect community members with valuable information that can be of service to them. His presentation will be about resources available for small business development in Southern Colorado. He will be joined by surprise guests from partner organizations specializing in small business assistance who will mingle with the crowd.

If you are a business owner interested in expanding your network and your business, please join us, and a special thanks to Career Creators Consulting for providing the refreshments!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to some requests and a personal conflict, we are permanently changing our monthly CMB Networking meetings to the SECOND WEDNESDAY of every month, starting next week on June 12, and the location is changing to the Little Shepherd in the Hills Church.

We received this email yesterday, and it got me to thinking that we don't have anyone signed up for that on CMB, but I know there are people around here who do this sort of thing.
--------------------------
"Hey there,
I'm emailing you to ask if you might know of any business or group in the local or nearby area that offers moving/unloading labor for hire, particularly this Saturday. I'm moving to a new home in the Baca and I've had two movers from Colorado Springs fall through in the last two days. At this point, I'd prefer to spend the money in Crestone and hire local anyway, so if you know of any contacts, I would be grateful.
Either way, thank you so much for your time and please know it's appreciated! Take care!"
---------------------------
If you're interested in helping this person out, please message us and we'll connect you.

As a reminder, ALL BASIC LISTINGS ON THE CMB SITE ARE NOW FREE! so, you can even put a listing on our website that you're available for this sort of work, and we'll be happy to add that category in there for you.

Summer's almost here, and people moving to the area (and tourists!) are utilizing our website. If you haven't created your free basic listing yet, why not?
