Smith's Tack Repair is owned and operated by Fran Smith a master saddler with 36 years experience, an avid horse person herself and a authorized dealer of Patrick Saddlery. She takes pride in knowing each horse and rider individually. If your horse doesn't move under saddle as it would without a saddle on, or has a sore back, you might have a saddle problem! A poorly fit saddle will cause pain and

discomfort and interfere with a horse range of motion, preventing them from performing to their highest ability. Just like any athlete, a horse has one side stronger then the other and changes as they improve or get older. Your saddle should be adjusted to change with your horses changing body. we recommend to have your horse looked at twice a year. After you make an appointment with us, we come to your farm do to an evaluation of your horse's back and saddle, take measurements of both horse and rider, then adjust your saddle to accommodate your horses individual needs and improve the riders overall seat position.
