I’ve always been known for taking on just about any project I could get my hands on. Now, I’m focusing more. But every now and then an interesting project comes up and I just can’t help myself lol

This one was a deadlift platform. Seemed like a pretty cool thing to try especially looking at the prices online.

Started with a piece of BC Pine and hated it. Ripped it off, turned back around, went to Lowe’s and got a nice piece of 3/4 finished oak ply.

A nice big logo between about 25 coats of poly, just need to add a trim cap to the front edge and it is complete!

I can’t promise I’m going to start offering deadlift platforms but it was a satisfying project for sure.

Is your sign working for you or against you??

Just because a sign looks great on a computer screen doesn’t mean that is it effective visually 30-40 feet away, especially on a busy road

Next time you’re out driving around pay attention to the signs around you. Some are cluttered with too much information, complicated lettering or excessive artwork.

Some look great up close but from the road, you can barely tell what they say.

A sign needs to do more than look good, it needs to communicate your message clearly and effectively.

Sometimes simple is better!
