Nearly half way through 2026 and another week has slid right by us…picked up an older dodge with broken wheel studs and positioned it off the roadway where the owner could take it from there, a little medium duty on medium duty hauling a Chevy Kodiak that sprung a leak, transported a Nissan Frontier over to Madison Auto Service in Madison for repairs, left a Massey Ferguson over at D & K Tractor And Mower Repair for a massage, ran over across the water to uptown Carrollton Ky and installed a spare tire onto a Caravan, and hauled home a newer Camaro with a flat tire as well as removed the wheel and dropped it off at Crandell’s Automotive Repair for tire replacement. Workin our way on into the first week of June… moved a Buick a short distance down to K&J Auto in Vevay for a fix, rescued a skid steer from a deep muddy trench, left a tall Jeep Wrangler in the capable hands of Sunfire Offroad in Sunman, rolled a Buick directly into the lift bay at Larry’s Auto in East Enterprise for some repairs, picked up a nice Corvette over across the water and left it at K&J Auto in Vevay for some rehabilitation, and ran over to interstate 71 in the middle of the night and installed a spare tire onto a 3500 Dodge Cargo Van. Lookin back at the last days of May 2026…..we picked up a crunched Tacoma and left it with Dickerson’s Auto Body to be smoothed out, hauled a single cab silveraydo with a broken ball joint in to the repair man, transported a diesel Dodge over to Carrollton for a fix, picked up a gaggle of youngsters and their broken Hyundai and moved them all home to Versailles, we assisted a FedEx vehicle back onto the roadway so he could finish his deliveries, hauled in one mean Mazda for repairs, ran over to Interstate 71 near Sparta and installed a spare tire onto a Chrysler 300 that had fallen off of the factory jack and was sitting flat on the ground, and we relocated an Equinox for Belterra so they could begin repaving their parking lot. Lookin back on round 14 days worth since I was slackin on my posts this past Sunday…..moved a frequent flyer jeep over to Transmission Warehouse in Madison for repairs, moved some old yard art to Vevay and positioned it for its new owner, delivered some more scrap to Redball in Madison, ran over to Lawrenceburg in the early morning hours and changed a tire, hauled a Cummins powered Dodge up to North Vernon to Diesel Tune Up for a fix, transported a Silveraydo over to Transmission Warehouse for repairs, removed an abandoned vehicle from the big town of Vevay, hooked to a trailer with a large skid steer after its tow vehicle bowed out and delivered the equipment over to its rental facility in Ky then moved the trailer as well as it’s original tow vehicle back to the owner’s residence. Lookin back at this first full week in May…we moved a disabled Dodge Charger over to Crandell’s Automotive Repair for a fix, relocated an old 9N tractor a few hundred yards in order to be better repaired by its owner, hauled in a Traverse that had a run in with a deer, transported a wrecked parts vehicle to its new owner’s residence, hauled in a well done VW Beetle from the other side of the county, and we ran down to the flood zone on Nell Lee Rd and assisted in loading a once submerged Silveraydo onto its owner’s trailer. Another seven days have come and gone! We recovered a Chevy Volt that went for a rough ride and found itself way down in the ditch alongside river road late in the evening hours, picked up a Silveraydo that left its rear end behind and moved it a short distance home, hauled a Scion to K&J Auto in Vevay for a fix, delivered a smallish tractor back home after D&K Tractor And Mower Repair got it up and running, and we dropped off a Focus at Crandell’s Automotive Repair in Moorefield for some repairs. Moved a sickly suburban over to Transmission Warehouse in madison for repairs, dropped a zero turn off locally for a fix, left a smallish tractor over at D&K Tractor And Mower Repair for a remedy, we pulled a Grand Marquis off of a culvert head and out of a small ditch in the big town of Vevay, ran down to Independence Ky and picked up a freshly purchased Excursion for a local customer, and we dropped off an Escape with a flat tire over at Larry’s Auto in East Enterprise. Just a few from this past week. Picked up an old danger ranger with a broken ball joint and a lost wheel off the steep hills and turns between pleasant and Canaan and took it and its occupants home to Commiskey late at night, dropped off a jeep to Crandell’s Automotive Repair for a fix, moved a Harley Davidson edition Ford down to K&J Auto in Vevay for repairs, picked up a Jeep alongside the roadway and hauled it back home where it awaits repairs, and we moved an awful fancy side by side to storage for some folks that moved away.
