Fourth and final week of August comes to a close and I’ve got a few more tows for your eyeball’s entertainment. Hauled in a smallish school bus that broke down out in the wild, plugged a leaky tire on a snazzy BMW, recovered a Jeep that ran off a backroad and down into a creek, picked up a clean Buick that had an altercation with a deer, moved a broken Dodge over to Clubb Equipment Solutions in Madison for a fix, winched a Camry from an unusual parking spot and gave it a ride back home, hauled in another smallish school bus, and we transported a GMC over to Miller Automotive in Madison for repairs.

As we wrap up the last day of Wine Festival activities do enjoy yourselves with the many sources of entertainment available and whatever you do, please drive sober.

As the third week in August 26’ comes to an end I can’t help but caution ya all to please drive with care we’ve seen several collisions this month as a whole. Recovered a newer Camry that was barely visible from the roadway after a power pole’s guide wires caught it on its way farther into the woods along SR 129, dropped off an older Grand Prix at Crandell’s Automotive Repair for a repair, moved a danger ranger and an old Coleman camper over to Aurora from the big town of Vevay, dropped off a medium sized John Deere at D&K Tractor And Mower Repair for a fix, hauled a perty slick Silveraydo over to Carrollton for some computer work, and we picked up a stranded motorist from Markland Circle-K after his insurance company left him there for 6 hours while they allocated him a tow.

A soggy second week of August 26’ has slid right on by. Hopefully none of ya floated away 🚣‍♀️. We picked up a broken Ford Fusion alongside the road and delivered it back home, moved a Malibu over to Marshall Chevrolet in Carrollton Ky, picked up a snazzy Lincoln in Madison and left it in the capable hands of Crandell’s Automotive Repair, reeled in a Jeep that went off the road and collided with a large grove of trees, dropped a Nissan over in Madison at Rags To Wrenches for a fix, ran all the way over to Floyd’s K***s at 2am and moved a broken F150 a grand total of 6 miles, moved a Tundra from another garage down to Crandell’s Automotive Repair for a remedy after the first decided they couldn’t fix it, hauled in a Cobalt with a smashed rear end after it collided with a parked vehicle in a residential driveway, picked up a Toyota van and left it at Larry’s Auto for a fix, and we did some Jeep stuffs up in Butlerville in the evening hours and pulled out a Hummer that found a rather soggy spot way back in a field. A rather warm first 7 days of August 26’ comin atcha…dropped off a mega cab Ram at The Dam Auction to be sold, impounded an older Silveraydo in the late evening hours, ran all the way up to Sunman at 2am to move a Pontiac only to discover the driver had left and took the keys, transported a Chevy Sonic with a bad engine back home, delivered a Toyota van back home to its owner after a collision, recovered a GMC Terrain after we found it takin a nap alongside highway 129, and we rolled a heavy F350 directly into the bay at Crandell’s Automotive Repair in Moorefield for some local folks. With July 26’ all the way behind us I’ve managed to photograph a few of this past week’s tows for your viewing pleasure…we removed a long term parking ford for K&J Auto, transported a well done VW Beetle over to Redball in Madison for recycling, delivered a fully repaired tractor back home after D&K Tractor And Mower Repair showed it some lovins, dropped off a 49’ Mercury down at K&J Auto for a fix, unlocked a running vehicle over at Camp Livingston, ran all the way over to Shelbyville Kentucky and moved a heavy Ram truck over to Transmission Warehouse in Madison for repairs, and we moved a broken down Ram from the side of 421 in Madison to its residence in Switz Co late in the evening hours. Third week July 26’ is history. Here’s 7 more days worth for entertainment purposes only… returned a fully massaged tractor home after D&K Tractor And Mower Repair worked their magic, we pulled a newer Silveraydo out to the road from a 42 mile long driveway directly through the middle of the Amazon rain forest and loaded it for transport over to Transmission Warehouse in Madison, slid a Buick back onto the roadway after the slightest of miscalculations were made, picked up a Toyoter and dropped it off at K&J Auto in Vevay after it broke both balljoints on one side while in motion, left a Ford Ranger in disguise over at Larry’s Auto in East Enterprise for a fix, transported a large Ram for repairs, and ran all the way up to Scottsburg and picked up some local folk’s Chevy Silveraydo and dropped it off over at Larry’s Auto for repairs.
