Attention all Crystal River residents!

In honor of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, CORi Crystal River is collecting eggshell donations throughout January. Did you know that eggshells are a valuable source of calcium for composting and can help to balance the carbon and nitrogen levels in your compost?

To donate your eggshells, simply rinse them and allow them to dry completely before storing them in a paper bag or cardboard box. This will help to minimize any potential smell and keep insects at bay.

If you would like to arrange a pick-up or drop-off of your eggshell donations, please contact us at [email protected] or by phone at 3526002691. We also welcome any food or yard waste donations, so don't hesitate to reach out to us with any items you would like to donate.
