Traveling Pipe Welder / Fabricator
Location: Based in Wisconsin but Frequent Travel all over Wisconsin and out of state.
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced welder/fabricator for a primarily traveling position with some shop time in Cuba City, WI. This role requires independence, strong problem-solving ability, and pride in craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Pipe Welding
* Fabricate and assemble metal components
* Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and pipe layouts
* Complete structural and pipe welding in both shop and field environments
* Travel to job sites and work efficiently in real-world conditions
* Maintain high safety and quality standards
* Flexible and understanding that plans change
Required Qualities
* Self-motivated — able to work independently without supervision
* Detail-oriented — takes pride in clean, quality welds
* Team player with leadership ability
* Strong problem-solving skills on job sites
* Willing to obtain certifications and continue developing skills
* Comfortable with frequent travel
Qualifications
* Proven welding experience (pipe welding experience preferred)
* Ability to pass a weld test (including pipe test if applicable)
* Valid driver’s license
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs
* Reliable
