Spent the day at Terri Pines Country Club for the Cullman Regional Foundation golf tournament! There are worse places to spend a Monday, that’s for sure! ⛳️ Love being able to arrange my schedule to take time and volunteer to support our local nonprofits, and I’m proud to be a part of the CRMC Service Guild supporting projects for Cullman Regional ✅👩🏻‍⚕️🩻🩺🏥

A little Dolly + a little team reflection = a pretty fun morning. 🦋💗🎶

The Cullman County Tourism team asked for a session where they could have fun, celebrate what’s working, reflect on the year so far, and brainstorm where they want to go next.

We landed on a Dolly-themed retrospective - it felt like an especially fitting way to remember her and let her songs continue to inspire us!

🎶 Here You Come Again → What could be better?
🌸 Wildflowers → What could we try next?

Even our “rules” for the session got the Dolly treatment with Coat of Many Colors, Jolene, I Will Always Love You and more! 🥹

Lots of laughs, lots of pink, and SO many good ideas. I can’t wait to see what the Visit Cullman team does next! 💕

Last week I got to lead a session on “AI”at the Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (ALSHRM) conference! Such an honor to share ideas with some of the best HR leaders - and I was so happy to have a room FULL (even for a mid-afternoon session) 😂

Best part: most people left with a new idea for leveling up their own AI use - no matter what level they were on! 🎉

So grateful to Alabama SHRM and the conference committee for putting together a great event - loved connecting with and learning from other HR leaders - and I can’t wait for the next one!

A few days in Kansas with the Something Blue Shoppe team, learning from the incredible team at Essense of Australia .

One of my favorite parts of any conference isn’t just taking notes. It’s asking, “How do we turn these great ideas into something our team can use tomorrow?”

Over the next few months, I’ll be helping transform what we learned into practical, customized training for the Something Blue team. The conference sparked the ideas. Now we get to bring them to life in a way that fits their people, their culture, and the brides they serve.

This is what I love most about my work. Every industry is different, but helping people learn, grow, and put ideas into practice is always the goal.

This is what 30 looks like! 😂 July 22, 1996 - 30 years ago (oof) - was my first day of “work” at a real, grown-up job. I remember that first day at Compass Bank, and I’ve had a little stroll down memory lane today, reminiscing about the different people and places I’ve been on this little journey so far! 🎉❤️

Love getting to work with the Roaring Start program! This onboarding session is designed for the WSCC staff members - to help introduce them to WSCC culture and policies, as well as connect them to a cohort of other “new” employees in their first year of employment! ✅
I love the idea of building community - especially when our roles may be isolated or for employees who are “individual contributors”.
Thanks for inviting to be a part of making those connections! ✅

I’m usually the one reminding people to set goals, stay motivated, and reconnect to their purpose.

But for the past eight months, I got the chance to be on the other side… learning, listening, and being poured into.

I have so many takeaways - but these two messages seemed to pop up in every session (I obviously needed to hear them):

• Leave some blank space.
We fill our calendars so easily. Every hour accounted for, every day “productive.”
But without space to think, reflect, and just be still… there’s no room to actually grow.

• You are not alone.
Leadership can be isolating at times, especially as a female leader.
Being in a room with women who openly shared the same pressures, doubts, and questions was a reminder I didn’t know I needed. There’s something powerful about finding people who just get it… no explanation required.

So thankful for and the incredible women I’ve met, learned from, and walked alongside this year.

If you’ve ever thought about applying for one of their programs… do it. This is one of those experiences that truly delivers.
