Been There Done That With Type 1 Diabetes

Been There Done That With Type 1 Diabetes Been there, done that, and now I can help you through life's events while living with type 1 diabetes My life experience with diabetes is my education.

Offering real life experience from children to adults facing life events with Type 1 diabetes
I am a 38 year old type 1 diabetic and have been since age 3. Everyday I tackles life's challenges with the disease the best ways I know how. I know I can help others get through their own challenging times with my experiences. Parents, teenagers, and adults have events in their lives that with diabetes

may be hard to manage or even talk about. I am not a doctor of any kind nor do I warrant any other degree that allows me to give medical advice to type 1 diabetics. I have earned a master's degree in training and development and currently work in sales.

Met a very inspirational guy at the gym today. He saw my FB page and said he thought of his mom. He had other issues himself but said his mom always denied she had this disease. I can help those in denial.

I recently went to a group of diabetics to discuss what else diabetes. It was actually cool. We ate really bad food and the one thing I walked away from the group of about thirty diabetics all of which had the disease for over 30 years was "nobody ever new what it felt like to have a normal day". Think about that. What wool a healthy normal day feel like. I truly have no clue.
