38 SUSPECTS. 31 DAYS. ONE RELENTLESS NATIONAL TACTICAL TEAM.

The Phangela Group National Tactical Team continues to demonstrate its commitment to combating crime through proactive operations, intelligence-driven investigations, and exceptional teamwork across South Africa.

During the month of May, the team successfully apprehended 38 suspects linked to various criminal activities across multiple operational areas. Several of these individuals are known habitual offenders who have repeatedly come to the attention of law enforcement agencies.

In addition to these arrests, the team achieved further operational successes with the recovery of 3 stolen vehicles and the successful ex*****on of 1 drug bust, disrupting criminal activity and removing illegal substances from our communities.

These successes are the direct result of coordinated operations, outstanding intelligence gathering, relentless dedication, and the unwavering teamwork displayed by every member of the National Tactical Team. Their ability to identify, monitor, investigate, recover stolen assets, and apprehend suspects continues to make a meaningful impact in the fight against crime.

SUCCESSFUL ASSISTANCE IN MAJOR KIDNAPPING INVESTIGATION

On the 1st of June 2026, the Phangela Group Tactical Team played a key role in supporting a major kidnapping investigation in the Western Cape through intelligence gathering, surveillance, and the identification of persons of interest.
Working alongside law enforcement, intelligence provided by the team contributed to the successful recovery of the victim in Saldanha, unharmed, and the arrests of multiple suspects linked to the case was made by the Phangela Group Tactical Team.

This operation highlights the power of teamwork, intelligence-led investigations, and strong partnerships in the fight against serious crime.
