Hutchinson Composite Mussel Ridge The approach we took in designing this vessel was to incorporate the best characteristics of most of the proven lobster boat hulls.

You will notice a very traditional stem and sheer, as well as the flair forward and tumblehome aft, to create an aesthetically pleasing hull above the waterline. Below the waterline, we used a hard chine, proven in the V-hull form to create lift and stability, but we added the full keel.
