Well, the first Sunday of November just happens to fall on the first Sunday of the month…which is not only good, but the day of the month when the Bystander Bulletin Bits appears every month! You see, a couple of big things are happening early in the month for our publishing company!
First, my new Sherlock Holmes book has just been published within the last few weeks. It is the third I’ve done from the Bystander Group and is entitled, “The Case of the Transparent Host,” and it has a touch of spookiness (like our first two) to it and fits in with the Halloween season that just passed.
Next, I will be appearing at the yearly Akron Comicon, November 7th and 8th(Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 6pm on Saturday, 10-5pm on Sunday) and will be talking with the fans andsigning copies of the new Sherlock Holmes novel for you, along with all of the other Bystander novels that I’ve had published through Bystander. So, stop by for a chat at my table and talk pop culture and comic books, because I’m always ready for a pleasant conversation with the fans.
Plus, on that Sunday, I’ll be hosting a one-man panel on “Conversing in Comics…the Dialogue.” See some of the stuff that goes on behind the writing of comics!
But don’t wear me out, for four days after the show, I am heading for the hospital to get my 9th heart stent installed. (It might be less than that, for I have lost count after the 6th one).
Just joking though, although the stent schedule is real, I would be talking pop culture and comics in my sleep, so, our Sub Stack posts will continue unabated as I have gotten ahead with my writing schedule to allow for some rest after the heart procedure.
And be ready for some more book signings in December which will be reported on this site next month! Happy Thanksgiving!
Chris
