LG Fridge Leaking Onto the Floor? Here's What We Found in Cypress, TX

This LG French Door was pooling water underneath it — and the culprit was hiding in the back. The defrost drain tube was almost completely clogged, sealed off by buildup.

Here's the chain of events: every fridge runs an automatic defrost cycle, and that melt water has to drain into a pan by the compressor. When the tube plugs up, the water has nowhere to go. It backs up, freezes under the drawers, and eventually ends up on your kitchen floor.

We pulled the lower rear panel, cleared the blockage so the drain could flow again, and checked the compressor, fan, and connections while we were in there. Ran it to confirm everything was draining right.

Maytag Dryer Runs But Won't Heat — Houston, TX

This Maytag was tumbling fine, but one load took two full cycles to dry. We pulled the cabinet and found the culprit: lint packed around the blower, motor, and heater housing. That buildup chokes airflow, the heating system overheats, and eventually the element fails — taking the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat with it.

We cleared the airflow path, replaced the heating element along with the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat, and ran it until the heat held steady. We also flagged the wall vent line to the customer — when the duct behind the wall is long or restricted, that's often the real root cause.
