Sales vs Marketing

People have the biggest misconception of what these terms really mean. Therefore lack the positive results that each entity can inherently produce

Marketing a product or service gives your potential customer a warm fuzzy feeling. It makes the customer feel connected with your product because you expressing how this product can help solve a problem in their life. Maybe even include a personal triumph with the product to reach your audience emotionally

Characteristics of a Marketer

✔️Relationship Savvy
✔️Storyteller
✔️Builds rapport
✔️Captivates Audience

Sales are activities related to selling or the number of goods or services sold in a given time period. Selling a Product is just what it is, selling. The act of getting rid of product by any means necessary. No connection, No rapport, no relationship

Characteristics of a Salesmen

❌Use sales Jargon
❌Aggressive and Maybe a lil Pushy
❌One and Done
❌Good with Words

Examples:
Marketing: This Beautiful Plus size dress is a Male favorite this summer. It hugs those curves without giving the look of it being tight and unappealing. It comes in various colors, sure to accent your skintone. It comes in those sizes that we plus size girls think is forgotten, up to 5X.

Yes, us plus size women can be beautiful and rock the same styles as any other.

Sales: "Buy my dress, its only $19.99 and comes in Plus size
would you like to order today?
