“I’m trying to build something real here.
And frankly, the internet could use a little more honesty and a little less pretending we all meal prep perfectly while spiritually unraveling in the Taco Bell drive-thru.
So friends, help me continue doing the Lord’s work by:
• liking my page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61551648892098
• following along
• sharing posts that resonate with you
• or tagging someone who needs to know they’re not the only person emotionally negotiating with brownies.
And remember… by supporting me, YOU TOO are participating in the Lord’s work.” 😇 Thank you! See less

Confession time: I hate cooking.

Like… if given the choice between cooking and pulling through a drive-thru window for mozzarella sticks, my brain has historically chosen convenience every single time. Humans created an entire economy around melted cheese and convenience, then act shocked when everyone gains weight.

But here’s the truth I had to accept: fast food gave me weight gain, exhaustion, and excuses. Not the life or body I wanted.

So eventually, I realized if I wanted to reach and maintain my goal weight, I had to adult a little and learn to cook for myself instead of treating Dairy Queen like an emotional support group.

Tonight’s attempt at responsible adulthood:
Lemon butter chicken + green beans cooked in coconut milk for healthy fats.

Turns out real food actually helps your body instead of sending you into a mozzarella-stick shame spiral at 10 PM.

🚨 Bad Decisions & Bakery Boxes 🚨

What is the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever done for food?

I’ve shared that I’m writing a book about food addiction, emotional eating, and the completely unhinged things we do when food becomes more than just food… and I KNOW some of y’all have stories too. 😅

So, I want to hear them.

No shame here. This is about honesty, humor, and realizing we’re probably not as alone as we thought.

You can confess in the comments or DM me privately if you don’t want your business out in the streets. 😂

I’ll go first:

I used to buy “treats for my coworkers” and ate half of them in the parking lot before work even started. # Debs Bakery & Crafts The Carriage House Restaurant Inc- Jasper, GA

Your turn…

2011: I started journaling my food addiction journey and named it The Bitch and Her Brownies… because nothing says “I’ve got my life together” like negotiating with a brownie like it’s a hostage situation.
2017: Decided, “you know what this needs? A whole book.” Bold. Slightly unhinged. Respect.
2026: I pitched it to literary agents and editors… and they didn’t run. So now we level up: I’m sending a full book proposal to 3 agents for review and (fingers crossed) representation.
But here’s the part that actually matters…
This book isn’t just about me. This is for the women who I have helped who:
The ones disciplined on the outside but are fighting a full-blown pantry war behind closed doors.
The ones who feel like they “should” have it together… but don’t.
The ones tired of starting over on Monday for the 47th time.
The goal? Finished book by the end of the year.
The mission? Help other women feel seen, understood, and back in control.
The reality? Me, caffeine, a laptop, and NO emotional support brownies.
