INCIDENT: Motor Vehicle vs. Train Collision

LOCATION: Highway 54 East & Chamberlain Road

Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department units and emergency personnel are currently on scene of a collision involving a semi-truck and a train at the intersection of Highway 54 East and Chamberlain Road.

TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Chamberlain Road: CLOSED to all through traffic until further notice. Please seek alternate routes.

Highway 54 East: Remains open with minimal traffic impact. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, remain alert, and yield to emergency crews operating near the roadway.

Crews are actively working the scene. Please give first responders room to work safely. Further updates will follow as conditions warrant.
