As I started planning this quarter, I prayed for grace to accept God’s decision on something major.
A week later, God said NO. 😩😂
Liiiiiiiiiiiisten. I should’ve been more specific. (IYKYK)
I was disappointed and I wished the answer were different.
But something surprised me: the disappointment didn’t cut as deeply this time.
The pain was real—but so was the peace.
This quarter, I’m learning that planning with God isn’t about making the perfect plan and asking Him to bless it.
It’s about bringing Him a surrendered heart that’s willing to follow when His direction looks nothing like mine.
Sometimes His answer is no. Sometimes there’s a lesson. Sometimes no is just no.
But surrender gives us the grace to grieve, trust God, and keep moving.
These pages from the Pray Plan Profit CEO planner helped me walk through that process. 📖
I wrote more about what this experience taught me about prayer, planning, disappointment, and surrender on the blog. 💫
❓How have you dealt with God saying “No.”?
