It’s been a little quiet over here… but the mission hasn’t changed. 🩷

Helping people make smarter financial decisions has always been at the heart of Turning Point Financial Services.

Credit has been a BIG part of that conversation — and it still is.
But if there’s one thing life has reminded me of this year, it’s that our financial lives are so much bigger than a credit score.

It’s how we manage our money.

How we prepare for what we’re building.

How we protect the people we love.

These 3 things are silently killing your credit score RIGHT NOW:

✦ High utilization — even if you're paying on time, if you're using more than 30% of your available credit your score is taking a hit

✦ Unknown collections — stuff from years ago that you forgot about is still sitting on your report

✦ Too many hard inquiries — every time you apply for something new it dings your score
