What’s hiding in your drawers?

Drawers in the kitchen tend to be an easy target to accumulate junk. It’s the convenient spot to dump stuff with the good intention of coming back to look over them, but that sometimes never happens.

How do you achieve and maintain an organized drawer? It takes time, dedication, and intentionality.

A lot of times, you need to take everything out and start all over.

A made bed can change a bedroom drastically. Confession - I don’t think I can leave my house without making my bed. It’s one of the first things I do every morning. Love this bedroom!

MAKEOVER!!! (2/2)

This space was a fun challenge and we were very pleased with the outcome!

STEP 1 - Bring Em’ Out! We did a thorough scan of the room and brought everything out of its hiding place to plain sight to make the next step easier.
•
STEP 2 - Declutter. We got rid of a lot of toys, books, and stuffed animals that the child wasn’t playing with anymore or had simply outgrown.
•
STEP 3 - Sort. Thankfully, the client had this amazing storage unit that made creating a home for all sorted items a breeze! From LOL Dolls to Shopkins, Barbie Dolls & Accessories, and so much more, each had its own bucket!
•
STEP 4 - Organize! Neatly arranged and placed all items.
•
STEP 5 - Design. During the consultation, the client shared her plans and desire for the space and we advised on storage/furniture placement. You’ll notice the storage unit got moved to a different section to make room for two etageres that the client wanted inside the room.
•
STEP 6 - Finishing Touches! We labeled every bucket for easy access. This helps a lot with maintenance as the child knows exactly where all item should go after every play session.
•
STEP 7 - Client Walk-Thru! We got the client and child familiar with their new “MoDe’d” space! 😏
