Next up for our amazing lineup for this retrat we want to introduce Catherine Smith Licari. She began her career in publishing spending years working as a magazine editor and with emerging luxury fashion designers. At the age of 25 and while completing a Masters in Fashion Studies at Parsons, she launched her first business, e-commerce company PLAN DE VILLE as the online destination for luxury fashion by emerging designers. She received the Rising Star Award in
Retail from The Fashion Group International in 2016 for the concept. Catherine's work has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Forbes, Women's Wear Daily, and by Nasdaq. She is actively involved in a leadership capacity with The Whitney Museum and The Luxury Education Foundation and lives in New York City. After scaling Plan de Ville and launching a financial advisory practice for emerging brands, she completed an MBA at Columbia Business School and created Cash Flow for Creatives, a financial literacy company designed for small business owners who are busy navigating all aspects of their business. Cash Flow for Creatives simplifies the overwhelming world of financial spreadsheets and models with easy-to-use tools, including The Small Business Planner, the step-by-step guide to growing a business, from setting up a legal entity to creating a mission statement. To-date, the company has served over 6,500 small business owners across the United States in wide-ranging industries.
