Coupla thoughts: reduce the flour to 1/3 cup, use an extra sharp cheddar to increase the cheesy flavor, cook the bechamel for a little less time and use a little less pasta so you have a higher ratio of sauce. Directions Cook macaroni according to package directions. In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; stir in flour, and cook for 3-5 minutes stirring constantly to form a roux; add salt and pepper; slowly add milk, stirring well after each addition. Cook and stir until bubbly. Stir in cheese a small amount at a time until fully melted.

Just add milk. This is the easiest way to make your mac way better. Either add a combo of milk and water when you're first adding it to the noodles, or pour some in after it's done cooking. It makes the cheese powder mix in more smoothly AND your mac is instantly creamier. Win-win.
