Last night and early morning hard work. Armed suspect attempted to walk on property with his fire arm concealed in his waistband and under his jacket. Due to Chief Shermans awareness and bravery the suspect was stopped prior to enter the doors of the bar. Suspect attempted to pull firearm out of his waistband but due to Chief Shermans reaction time and training he was able to hold suspect at gun point while patrons of the bar went for cover and safety. Suspect was then disarmed and detained until local LEOs arrived on scene to make arrest and take suspect into custody.

Qualifications: For Global Protection Agency

· Must be at least 18 years of age and a US citizen, or able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States
· Must have an ACTIVE Level 2 or 3 PSB License in Texas
· Must possess a high school degree or GED
· Must successfully pass a drug test & criminal background check
· Must have no criminal convictions as specified under PSB regulations
· Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of public interaction and report writing
· Must have a working smart phone with internet access, as all reporting is done online
· Must have a reliable form of transportation, and a valid DL in order to get to work in a timely manner each assigned shift
