Hocker Landscape Architecture Firm Hocker Design Group (HDG) is a landscape architecture studio founded in 2005 by David L. Hocker, president and design principal.

It is based in Dallas, Texas, and currently has work across North America. HDG responds to unique design challenges with a commitment to providing clients with responsible and innovative design solutions. The mission of the firm's work aims to solidify the landscape as the cohesive link between a project’s architecture and site. Texas, the Southwest, and regions beyond provide endless exposures to

their prevalent urban, rural, and agricultural landscape patterns. An intimate knowledge of these native landscapes is integral to HDG’s design process as it applies to projects ranging from residential gardens to parks and urban design. HDG strives to create spaces that reflect exacting detail and strong material comprehension relative to site, ecology, context, architecture, and program.
