We received these pictures of a samaritan in Maryland shoveling snow to clear their neighbor's driveway! These samaritans shoveled through 10 inches of snow. We are excited to see the impacts that are being made in different communities!

Samaritan's Purse provides spiritual and physical aid to victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Operation Christmas Child collects shoeboxes filled with gifts and school supplies. Ways to help:
-Build a shoebox online

Toys for Tots collects new unwrapped toys and distributes those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. Ways to help:
-Donate a toy virtually
-Donate a toy locally

ASPCA is the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The mission is to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals. Ways to help:
-Adopt a pet
-Report animal cruelty
-Fundraise

Project C.U.R.E. aims to deliver health and hope to the world and to children that are missing education or suffering from illness. Ways to help:
- Medical volunteer
-Sort and pack supplies
-Volunteer in the warehouse

While spending time at CITY House it was revealed that there was a need for a new dryer. As the challenge to be charitable continues, a samaritan donated not one but THREE dryers to City House filling a big need for this nonprofit organization.

Overjoyed to see people getting inspired by our cause!

Making it happen! There are big smiles behind the masks here with our very own Stephanie Anne and her darling step daughter as they pick out soft pajamas for local seniors in need with Pajamas For Seniors
We hope to encourage our local Dallas community and also partner with 12 Samaritans group also as they are busy working on 12 days of giving! We are excited to be featured on this page!

City House Part 2. In the first video, we detailed how two samaritans were touched by the needs of City House and went to Walmart where they gathered items such as clothing, shoes, toys, and room decor. In this video, we show the samaritans dropping off all of their donations at City House. The samaritans made a huge impact by fulfilling the wants and needs of 32 young boys and girls and the employees at City House could not be happier!

The Senior Source champions older adults by empowering them to live with purpose, protecting vulnerable adults, and advocating for them. This nonprofit serves over 27,000 senior citizens in the DFW area. Ways to help:
-Become a visitor or senior companion
-Help seniors manage their money
-Become an advocate

Samaritan Inn is a homeless program that does not only gave people a place to stay but also provides programs to teach the homeless skills to improve their lives. On a given night, approximately 160 people sleep at the Inn. Ways to help:
-Serve meals
-Work at their thrift store
-Sort donations
-Work with children

Parkland Hospital is a public hospital that aims to furnish medical aid and hospital care to needy people residing in the hospital district. It is one of the largest public hospitals in the country, averaging more than 1 million patients annually. Ways to help:
-Donate personal protective equipment
-Hospital or staff support

Love in Motion is dedicated to showing tangible appreciation designed to honor, motivate, and retain dedicated workers of the city. They believe a thriving community is a combination of volunteerism, engaged employees, and increased mental health. Ways to help:
-Host a LOVE project for your business
-Volunteer virtually
-Nominate an organization to receive appreciation

Rock ME (Rock Music Education) helps underprivileged children in the DFW area realize their love of music by obtaining musical instruments and giving them to students who cannot afford them. As hard as this year has been, Rock ME would like to help out a few special kids get musical instruments this holiday season. Ronald McDonald House has a mission to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. This organization strives to provide access to medical care for all children. Ways to help:
-Cooking, greeting, listening, cleaning
-Share your RMHC heart on social media

VNA Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious, freshly prepared meals five days a week to those who cannot obtain or prepare meals for themselves due to illness, advanced age, or disability. Ways to help:
-Volunteer with hospice patients
-Deliver meals
-Pack meals

American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies. 90% of their workers are volunteers. Ways to help:
-Donate blood
-Join the disaster action team

UNICEF saves children’s lives, defends their rights, and to helps them fulfill their potential. They have programs for inclusion, survival, education, and more for developing children. Ways to help:
-Advocate for children before the government
-Fundraise
-Become a UNITER

Part 2 of 2: The need has been met! We are thrilled that two good samaritans were able to fulfill a great need for the Samaritan Inn. After their only van was totaled, the Samaritan Inn found themselves without a way to transport children and adults to where they needed to go. Thanks to two good samaritans they now have a new van and can get back to helping others!
