Last night, Shaver Hall celebrated its Opening Party with nearly 1,400 people gathered inside a building that has been part of New York’s story for more than a century. ✨🥂

Three years ago, this was an empty space and a big idea. Last night, it was full of people experiencing Shaver Hall for the first time. 🙌

FB Society co-founder and CEO Jack Gibbons Jack Gibbons took the stage to talk about his first look at this historic space and envisioning a gathering place for the community. Randy DeWitt Randy DeWitt spoke about the spirit behind the name and the woman who inspired it. Amazon’s Sean Lee talked about the shared vision for Midtown Manhattan that made it possible. Clare Reichenbach Clare Reichenbach , CEO of the The James Beard Foundation James Beard Foundation , spoke about food as connection. Council Member Gale A. Brewer talked about what it means to breathe new life into a building this iconic.

And then Broadway Dreams Broadway Dreams performed a brand new original musical about the woman whose name is on the door: Dorothy Shaver, Fifth Avenue’s First Lady.

What filled that room last night was years of hard work made visible. Developers, designers, architects, branding teams, chefs, eatery partners, community leaders, and a team that turned every setback into a stronger version of the plan.

Guests got a taste of the eateries and saw what this building has become.

The vision is now a reality and we can’t wait to share it!

Last week, we were proud to host LEAD | Leadership, Exploration and Development at Mexican Sugar and welcome more than 100 emerging restaurant and hospitality leaders from across the industry. ✨🍽️

The room was full of people asking thoughtful questions and sharing ideas. It was a powerful reminder that the future of our industry is in the hands of an ambitious group already making a difference.

Our CEO, Jack Gibbons, joined Adam Halberg, CEO of Barcelona Wine Bar, to share their perspectives on the future of hospitality and the qualities they value in emerging leaders.

Thank you to the LEAD team for creating opportunities like this and to everyone who joined us.
Every career starts with someone willing to coach, encourage or open a door.

We’re grateful LEAD chose Mexican Sugar and FB Society to be part of that effort. 🙌❤️

This week we presented with a check for $148,769.94, representing nearly half a million meals for North Texans facing hunger. 🍽️🙌

We are celebrating BIG! 🎉

At FB Society, we believe in the power of food to bring people together. That’s what we do every day in our restaurants. Food Bank February gave us the opportunity to take that one step further and make an impact on our community.

Our teams showed up and shared the North Texas Food Bank story, inviting guests to be part of something bigger. Our guests responded in a way that blew us away. They chose to give alongside us, and together we turned a month of dining into nearly half a million meals.
We are so grateful to every guest who dined with us and every team member who made Food Bank February a success in its very first year.

Thank you to the entire North Texas Food Bank team for the work you do every day and for welcoming us as partners.

This is just the beginning, and we cannot wait to see what we build together. 💪

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the women who lead with strength, vision, and heart.

Meet Christine Magrann, COO of FB Society — and one of the driving forces behind everything we do.

Her leadership shapes our culture, empowers our teams, and inspires excellence across every restaurant. We’re grateful for the impact she makes every single day.

Here’s to the women who lead the way. 👏✨

Hope is on the menu! 🍽️

Every Tuesday in February, we’re donating 10% of the sales at our DFW locations to the . Last week was our first Tuesday of the program and we raised $35,345, which translates to 106,035 meals for families who need them.

The North Texas Food Bank helps feed more than 700,000 people annually. The DFW metroplex ranks third in the nation for the number of people facing hunger, and Texas leads the nation with more food-insecure individuals than any other state. That has to change.

Together, we’re fighting hunger in North Texas and we’re just getting started. 🙌

Come dine with us every Tuesday and ask us any day about adding an additional donation to NTFB.
