February 11, 2013 I walked out of the gate and started my new life wearing sweat pants given me by the state. I had nothing and nowhere to go, only a couple dollars in a check from my books.

Towards the end of it all, I asked Jesus to really become real in my life. I had seen enough of what i can do on my own and I was ready for something new.

5-years later, I mean almost to the date with today being February 7, 2018. Jennifer & I were just featured as one of the most inspirational entrepreneurs in the DFW (or the Dallas - Fort Worth area).

My story isn't my story, I cant even say I did it myself because on my own I was lost, I used things for pain and my life was both hard and a mess. There is this one little Bible verse though that says "I can do all things through Christ" and through Jesus I did turn it around but it was because I surrendered to Him and let go of me!

It is because if His grace I found Jennifer for the second time after 5 yrs and now have an awesome son, and a daughter. My world isn't always easy...lol but through Christ all things are possible!

Today is not a day for excuses, or to dwell on what you wished you had done better last year. Today, today is a mental pace-setter. Look over your life, and make a few goals. Start with some big stuff you really want; Like losing 50 pounds, making 6-figures or to have more time with your family.

The second step? Make a series of little goals, "baby-steps" if you will, as to how you will reach your "real goals". If your goal is 50 pounds, dont expect it within 30-days because you will feel like you can never do it if you only lose 8 pound's when you should be celebrating a mini-success!

Not giving yourself enough time is one of the biggest down falls for many people because they want this one thing really really bad but over 3-years they have burnt themselves out trying to do what they in their mind have begun to accept as non-do-able.

The other down fall I have seen is giving yourself too much time and then it becomes a project never started. Setting a good pace is vital for your success, or it can be what ultimately causes your down fall. If your goal is 6-figures and you made 38k last year, start setting up better habits like waking an hr earlier to improve on a skill set, or lead generation that will, and can finally help you reach your goal(s) vs feeling stuck like you can't ever make it.

So take today, and begin your list on how 2018 will be, or rather is your year!

Green living at it's best; remembering to give back!

It's been a little while since I posted on his page and right now our company is trying to help people on the streets get jackets and hygiene items to stay warm and clean.
