9 World Cup Matches. 1 Amazing Drone Team. Countless Memories.

As the FIFA World Cup comes to an end, we are incredibly proud of what the Uncrewed Aerospace team accomplished.

Over the course of nine FIFA matches hosted at (Dallas) AT&T Stadium our drone team planned, coordinated, and executed aerial overwatch operations in support of one of the world's largest sporting events.

Every mission required precision planning, constant communication, strict safety standards, and close coordination with multiple agencies to ensure safe and compliant operations.

This project wasn't just about flying drones. It was about integrating into a complex public safety and event security environment where every flight had a purpose.

One of the greatest honors of the entire tournament was being invited by the Director of Football for the Portugal National Team to provide aerial coverage of their private training session at Southern Methodist University —a unique opportunity that our team will never forget.

Successful aerial overwatch operations don't begin at takeoff. They begin days—and sometimes weeks—before the aircraft ever leaves the ground.

As drone operators, we spend far more time planning than we do flying.

Before every mission, we evaluate environmental conditions, crowd dynamics, communications plans, emergency procedures, launch and recovery locations, equipment readiness, and contingency options.

Just as important is redundancy.
Backup aircraft.
Backup batteries.
Backup communications.
Backup procedures.

Because when supporting large-scale events with thousands of people in attendance, there is rarely an opportunity for a second chance.

The public sees the drone. What they don't see are the hours of planning, coordination, and preparation required to make that operation safe, effective, and valuable to the teams on the ground.

The drone provides the perspective. The planning behind it provides the capability.

Prepared crews. Disciplined operations. Mission success.

Big news for the Uncrewed Aerospace team.

Contracts are signed. Teams are secured. Operations are moving forward.

We are proud to officially support the FIFA World Cup 2026™ - Canada, Mexico and the United States matches in Dallas and Houston through aerial overwatch and drone security operations.

This opportunity represents months of planning, coordination, training, and operational preparation, and we could not be more excited to be part of such a historic global event here in Texas.

Our mission is simple: provide professional aerial overwatch, enhanced situational awareness, and real-time operational support to help contribute to safe and successful events at scale.

As we head into aerial security operations here in Texas, preparation is already underway.

Most people think aerial overwatch is just flying a drone over a crowd. In reality, it’s about planning, crew coordination, communications, situational awareness, and being ready to adapt in constantly changing environments.
