CVSA International Roadcheck is here from May 12–14, and while every year looks a little different, this week’s inspection period can sometimes create temporary shifts across the market, including:
👀 tighter capacity
⏳ potential transit delays
📈 spot market fluctuations
🚛 changes in truck availability
This year’s inspection focus:
✔ Cargo securement
✔ ELD / hours-of-service compliance
Some carriers may choose to limit equipment movement during the 72-hour inspection window, so a little extra planning this week could go a long way.
If you have time-sensitive freight moving this week, now’s a good time to:
✔ Book early
✔ Communicate delivery expectations
✔ Build in a little flexibility where possible
